Don has 32 years experience in agricultural research and 15 years in agricultural commodity projects with companies and (small scale) producers (potato, coffee, cocoa). He has extensive experience working in tropical countries: long term in Philippines, Costa Rica (5 years in each) and short term (in >15 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America). He has an MSc in Biology from Wageningen University. He speaks Dutch, English and Spanish.

Herma Mulder

Senior Consultant, The Netherlands

Herma has over 10 years experience in agricultural value chains and project management. She has worked for both private sector and NGOs in multiple stakeholder settings. International experience in Africa and South East Asia on sectors such as coffee, cocoa and horticulture. Herma has a degree in Tropical Landuse Wageningen University. She speaks Dutch, English and French.

Michiel Kuit

Michiel Kuit

Senior Consultant, The Netherlands

Michiel is founder and co-owner of Agri-Logic. He has a 15 year track record in tropical agricultural commodity projects that involve small scale producers, exporters and FMCGCs. He is leading various impact assessment and modelling projects in coffee and cocoa in Africa, Latin America and Asia. He has developed large scale (semi-)commercial investment programs in various commodity sectors for corporate, financial and governmental clients. Michiel has a degree in tropical agriculture.

Sanne Steemers

Senior Consultant, The Netherlands & Nigeria

Sanne is founder and owner of Agri-Logic West Africa. She has over 12 years experience in supply chain management and international business, with sector experience in agribusiness and financial services. She develops and implements supply chain strategies and investment cases for companies and public private partnerships. Sanne lives in Nigeria and worked around Africa, Asia and Europe. She has an MSc in International Business, and speaks Dutch, English and French.

Bashir has 15+ years experience in agribusiness in Nigeria with a focus and network in the North. He owns a farm, worked with and sourced from farmers and processing companies. He has specific interest and experience in sourcing, supply chain and agrilogistics. He has a Nigerian nationality and speaks English and Hausa.

Economist, designer and product developer. Chip has over 25 years experience as an entrepreneur in fashion, wine and palm oil. He works as a value chain consultant for cotton, textiles and other agricommodities. He is a developer of public private partnerships. Chip has the English and Nigerian nationality, and has worked in Europe, Australasia and West Africa. He speaks English, Igbo and Yoruba.

Lieke Guinée

Lieke Guinée

Consultant, The Netherlands

Lieke leads several large scale data-driven assignments in the cocoa sectors of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire with corporate clients. She is involved in impact assessments of voluntary sustainability standards in coffee and cocoa. She has research expertise in payments for ecosystem services (PES). She holds and MSc in Environmental Biology, Utrecht University. Lieke speaks Dutch, English and some French.

Thomas has over 25 years experience in business, with over 15 years in agricommodities in Nigeria with a focus and network in the South-East. He manages cooperatives, procurement and agricultural processing. He started his career in finance and investment in London. He holds the English and Nigerian nationality, and has an MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia University in New York.

Daan is iInvolved in several assignments, especially in Francophone countries such as Côte d’Ivoire. He is eager to contribute to developments that enable people from all over the world to lead prosperous lives in a sustainable manner. He has work experience in Africa, focused on agricultural policy and micro-credit. He holds an MSc in Management and Economics, specialization Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, Wageningen University. Daan speaks Dutch, English and French.

Nathalie is involved in various data-driven assignments, especially in Asia and Latin America. She is enthusiastic to contribute to a better understanding of sustainability problems through research, and to translate knowledge on sustainability issues into ideas and plans for developing sustainable practices. Nathalie has work experience in Latin America with a focus on market research and green finance. She holds an MSc in Sustainable Development: Earth System Governance from Utrecht University, and speaks Dutch, English, French, Portuguese and a little Spanish.

Temitope has 11 years of professional experience in the areas of farmers’ capacity development, field research, farming household level survey, project monitoring and evaluation, as well as project planning. He has conducted research in agriculture, some of these studies are published. He has served in different capacities with notable organizations. He has technical skills in M&E tool designing, implementation of large scale data collection and household surveys, and statistical data analyses.

Junior Consultant, Nigeria

Kehinde has 5 years of working experience in agricultural and economic research and consultancy. He holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics and and MSc in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His research interests are value chain analysis of farm produce, food security and nutrition, poverty reduction, technology adoption and innovation, social protection, spatial economics, impact assessment, rural development and agribusiness management. Kehinde has worked in a range of sectors including rice, yam, dairy, cassava and poultry, and speaks English and Yoruba.
